Interior Decorating!

Wednesday, February 16, 2011

I finally picked out colors for our new guest bath!

I pulled my colors from the above pallet (Pantone's fall 2011 scheme). The walls will be similar to the nougat color, with deep teal & deep plum (darker version of phlox) bath towels and accents, white trim (crown molding, white bathtub, white sink & cabinets), and brushed silver faucets & light fixture. I will probably get a white shower curtain as well, because this bathroom has no windows, so I want to keep it light and airy.

Here are the towels (the teal is actually darker than it looks in the pic):

And I love this soap dispenser that goes with our brushed silver faucets!

What do you think?

P.S. I have been slacking on exercising, but have been doing it to a certain extent. I am eating right though, and haven't gained anything. Maintenance is such a fine balance!!

I think the soap dispenser is exquisite! The nougat is one of my favorite wall colors because it looks good with any accent color. I would love to see photos of your remodeled bath when you are finished.

That's awesome! You have very good taste. That's basically my bathroom.

BTW, you could have worked your abs while you were shoppping or doing things like calf flexing while looking at stuff.
