Hissy fit time

I guess I was overdue. lol

Now bear in mind that I am keeping my doctor NSV and my clothing NSV firmly in mind.
Last week I gained .2 but wasn't that upset as I had salty things at my nephew's birthday party. This past week I believe I kept things under control, did my exercise, drank the water, etc. Even the times I indulged in Doritos, I tracked (at least on the Weight Watchers etools... I haven't been so good with tracking on SP.)

I gained another .2 this week.

Realistically, I know this *really* isn't that big a deal.. .4 is less than a half a lb. But I wasn't expecting it this week... so I got really, REALLY ticked off. And I'm not proud to admit it, but I threw a big ol' hissy-fit/temper tantrum.

BUT.... I'm not giving up. That never entered my head. The tantrum is over and now I'm trying to think of what I can do this week to shake things up so next Tuesday shows a loss at the scales.

    Well, I totally understand! When I gained on WW I found that I started to be more lax with my measuring of things, or not so strict about my point values -- I was using all of my flex points.

Regardless, we all have times like this! You are right thinking it is only less than half a pound! Imagine how much you could have gained, had you not been trying! You can do this! You will bounce back!

    From one Tracy to another I can assure you that a good ole fashioned hissy fit is necessary sometimes - you worked hard and it doesn't show...yet. But it will. For me sometimes it helps to go over a little - a day where I go off track just to shock my body. Sometimes I need to re-evaluate what my balance of calories are from (too many carbs, too much crap food even if not outside my points or calorie range).

Whatever it is you can beat it! Hang in there!

  I hear you! The hardest thing for me is to not let food control me!

I found a great snack that I now eat when I get that crunchy salty urge....pepperidge farm goldfish!@ There is a whole wheat kind and 55 crackers with a small slice of ff cheese or string cheese to me is such a filling snack and not a lot of salt either! Good Luck!
