Lunar New Year Celebration

Tuesday, February 15, 2011

Our family's martial arts school has been celebrating the Lunar New Year with 2 weeks of workshops. It has been lots of hard work but so much fun as well! (I have been around so many people with coughs or recovering from sickness, I don't know why I haven't come down with something myself!)

While the 2 weeks of workshops and performing the lion dance at restaurants (4 this year), stores, and a mall, has been very fulfilling and exciting, it's time to settle down to some monotony. :)

We have 2 events left:

FREE Women's Self Defense Workshop tonight (2/15/11, 7-8:30pm)

All of the Lunar New Year workshops were awesome! Even more amazing...I never got sick. Every time I felt like I was getting a little sniffly or my throat felt a bit scratchy, I drank some herbs given to me by my acupuncturist. It might actually work!

Looks fun. Might be able to make it to the kids class this evening. Will try.
