Took me long enough!

I am amazed, on how much better I am feeling since I started walking Feb 1.
I cannot believe, I hadn't wanted to do this before, now I can't get enough of it. I started out with baby steps, a half mile, a whole mile. Now I am walking with a friend 3 days a week, and today we did 45 minutes, 2.5 miles. We are both in shock at how much we are able to do, walking with a friend, is always good, it keeps the monotony at bay, having a conversation, at a crisp pace.
My knee tends to act up, but today I didn't let it spoil my walk, and kept on going. I am finding the more I walk, the better I sleep at night. I am also finding I want to go to sleep earlier. So two things are better for me now. Getting off my sedentary duff, and my bouts with insomnia.
I encourage anybody to start walking. If I can do it, anybody can. And I plan to walk myself to fit.
