Adding 2 pounds to my ticker :(

Yeah, I gotta do it. Weight is now 119. Gotta keep it honest. But the good news is, I get to look forward to moving it DOWN. emoticon

Hubby and I started out our day yesterday morning with a great 9 a.m. workout - spin class. I hadn't done the bike class in a while and kind of forgot what an amazing and fun workout it is. If I get on the stationary bike in the gym with the rest of the machines, I hardly break a sweat because I don't push myself enough. But in the class, something about the energy in there, the instructor motivating you to keep going, and watching everyone else just pedal like h*ll makes me work that much harder.

Today is a day off from exercise. Sundays we are usually busy doing all kinds of errands, plus the kids club at the gym is closed, so usually I skip the gym. Might do a Jillian DVD later on this morning if I get my house cleaned in time before my folks show up for a visit. Well, at least I can try to turn the cleaning into a workout.

    I'm SO with you...when I see my scale move up, I try to see it as an opportunity to watch it go back down!! I just need to be more consistent with my eating AND exercise! I'm SO ready for spring LOL!!

    That's always my second thought! My first is "ugh, I'm up??" and my second thought is always "well, I get to see it move back down!"

    I tend to take both Saturday and Sunday off because we are so busy, it is so awesome for a break. Because then I actually miss exercising and then am able to go big on Mondays! Have a great day!

    I had to add 2.2 lbs to my ticker today. It's the first time my weight has gone up since I started keeping track last September. I was shocked by the scales because I haven't been overeating or under exercising. Let's just hope it's gone for both of us by next week!

    Don't be too hard on yourself. You are very active and it's not like you gained 10 pounds. Two can be gone in a week. Keep your head up! :)

    I'll be honest here... I only add to my ticker if it is 5 pounds or more. :") I figure my water weight varies sooo much day to day, I don't want to get discouraged. It always seems to go back down right away, and a couple extra soon after, so I don't feel bad. :)

    There's nothing that sucks more than having to add to the ticker. Great job keeping it honest.
    I've never tried a spinning class. Sounds like you had a great time. Are you going to make it a Saturday thing?
    Good luck getting some kind of workout in today. If you get the music going while you're cleaning it can definitely be a workout.
