Still here

Saturday, February 12, 2011

Yep still here!

I am still at the same weight lol! I'm trying a liquid diet just for this week to see if I really do actually lose anything at all. If I don't I probably should go to the doctor.

My new job is going well. There is another woman on my team trying to lose weight. She said she was around 256lbs. This one woman from France I think, is bone thin and never had a weight problem in her life kept sitting there trying to give advice on diet and exercise. Finally the overweight woman asked her about how many cigarettes she smoked a day hahaha. That shut her up. I hate when people who have never had a weight problem and you see they eat anything they want always try to comment on someone else's weight diet etc.

I bought some new clothes. I hated buying the size but I really needed some new office clothes. My other ones didn't fit and I looked horrid. I had my hair done too. I figure I should look nice all the time regardless of what I weigh. I can just get rid of the fat sizes when I lose weight and buy other clothes.

On other news! My son is coming here with me! We are over the moon happy!

Don't get discouraged. Remember you are armed with great tools to help you. Keep the big picture in mind; these bad weeks or days will not be so important in the long run. You're doing great! emoticon

Ummm you aren't even overweight. This woman wasn't speaking to me. She eats plenty of fast food I see her.

You may want to disregard what the woman from France says . . . but have you ever been there?!? You DON'T see obese people walking around, most are fit. They turn up their noses at 'fast food' and DO eat real food. Portion control, enjoying the food you eat and walking everywhere is a way of life in France. Hate to say, don't knock the advice . . . sure the whole idea of smoking a health may not be accepted as widely as we have . . . but neither has fast food and our waist line here.
