Change is a way of life--some we choose & some are chosen for us.

I chose to take an art class. It finally started a week ago. It means that one night a week I get home late. I didn't want to give up my minimum of four day/week exercise; so I now exercise on Sunday afternoon instead of one workday. This does give me less time to do a lot of the Spark that I have done in the past.

In addition to Sunday afternoon, I have done a lot of my Spark reading & other on my lunch hour. Due to company policies, I will no longer be able to use the computer during my lunch break.

As a result, I have decided to withdraw from three of my Spark team as well as cut back in other ways. There is a lot that I will miss.

I will still log some of my activities on Spark and certain days I will calorie count on my break time and after supper. There is a lot of interaction I will miss. emoticon

When life throws you lemons, make lemonade. You do what ever you have to do. Your job is important so you have to follow company rules. Exercise and art class are also important. I'm so glad that you decided to follow your dream and take that art class! I hope that you can still attend our team dinners. You will have lots of wonderful things to share with all of us!

Eileen, I'll still be thinking of you. Do what you can. Enjoy your art class. Accept company rules -- what option is there? Your time for exercise and doing the things you need to succeed as far as weight maintenance goes is top priority. Your life and your program come first; Spark is great, but it comes after. Just the way it is. Take care. Regards, Marsha
