Trying to force myself to journal so I am being accurate about what goes into my mouth.. so... first entry :) I try to make sure my meals are small but often so my meals seldom exceed 200 calories per serving. Breakfast was a strawberry smoothie with 3 scoops of vegan protein powder..
lunch was a thanksgiving quiche recipe I found online.. it's pretty filling surprisingly for the small amount you can eat at a time.. it's filled with vegetables and chickpea flour and a large glass of water... I really need to be better about my water drinking!
then for dinner I found a photo of a falafel wrap on someones blog and decided that I wanted to try making them myself and it is FANTASTIC!!! It works out to be around 250-275 calories depending on the type of hummus and the size of your falafel and of course your tortilla.. I have 2 balls in my wrap, 1 pickle slice, a few pepper rings, hummus, hot sauce, onions, and lettuce.
the snack before my work out was a slice of what we're calling lentil loaf.. it's sort of like a meatless meatloaf recipe... I haven't decided yet if I like it.. it's ok, it's filling, but it's nothing all that special. 200 calories a slice and I treated myself to a diet pepsi with lime.
I then hula hooped for 1 hour and burned 475 calories... I was really exhausted so that's a low burn for me.. but I hooped 952 calories the night before and didn't sleep much so I feel pretty good about that! :)
Totals: 1,200 calories
Workout: 1hr / 475calories / Hula hooping (with a real hoop)
Water: approx. 48oz (I need to increase this next week!)
