The sun came out and it got above freezing. It felt great and started melting the snow and ice.

I slept good and my hip is doing better every day. I was able to do my outdoor chores without problems today.

I had to go to town to buy some chocolates for my son and hubby plus some sugar free ones for me for Valentine's Day. If I don't get anything for me my hubby and son both mope. If I let hubby buy something for me it would put me in a coma.

I went to the post office and talked to my GF who works there. I enjoy seeing her.

My son was off work again and we did 3 loads of laundry. We also did a bunch of cooking. I'm using up a lot of stuff in our freezers.

I'm using up stuff in a Pantry Challenge too, and it's been warm and melty here too. I'm always amazed when our lives are so often similar in some way.

So glad your hip is getting well so soon! How are your arm(s) and back?

I did 4 loads of laundry yesterday (another similarity) in my landlord's garage using his machine; mine has been broke since Jan 30 and the extended warranty people are crapping out on him. He's getting a new one from Lowe's and it's coming tomorrow. Of course still have many loads to do after a month and a half. Just be glad to have one again.

Last year just 3 weeks into doing sparkpeople hubby bought me a chocolate covered strawberry cheese cake... COMA is right... but his heart was in the right place... I made him take the left overs to work and that was the begining of all our left over desserts going to his work.. if its not in my kitchen its not on my hips...LOL Ronie

I hope you get out for a good walk today. I've been able to start walking in my sneakers, not boots and Stabilicers, and it feels like I'm flying!

So happy to hear that you got to chat with your gf at the post office. You were starting to sound lonesome!

Hmm. I wonder what that stuff in our freezer IS. I should look into this.

Soooooo glad to hear that your hip isn't troubling you as much..we warmed up here too - 55 today--thanks for the reminder on V Day - I have to go out and get something for DH tomorrow. We are celebratin Sat. night since I leave for LA on Sunday.
