Just had a tremendously busy week at work. I do a lot of writing on the computer for work, and just became chair logged all week. I got to the point where I actually had a soreness from sitting so long. So today I broke away and did my bowflex biceps and triceps routine and did a lot of extra houswork to get myself moving. I see the light at the end of my horrible work week and hope that now that the weekend looms, I'll be able to pay more attention to my fitness and weight loss goals.
I stuck to my diet all week, but i think that at my age, there is no room for sacrificing any part of my fitness routine. If I don't exercise, I simply don't see any improvement in my weight or body image. It's really hard road in my 50s and I'm still trying to get used to the idea that weight won't just fly off just because I've become serious about it. It is just SO much harder at this point in my life.
Anyhow, will keep on keeping on, because even if it doesn't get a lot better, at least I can keep from getting a lot worse.
