As I was working it on my treadmill tonight I was thinking about how far I have come on the treadmill. January 12th I did the Fitness Test and started "the dreaded" exercise journey that I was putting off. On January 15th I told myself all I have to do is 15 minutes- nothing more.....
And now I am up to a full 60 minutes in 4 weeks time and even walking/jogging intervals.... and (I am scared to death to say it- it is like the kiss of death) I have started to look forward to it.... who'd a thunk?!?!?!
Now while my attitude and ability to exercise has changed MY WEIGHT HAS NOT! But I am trying to focus on how great I feel! I have more energy, I am happier and feeling motivated. I will focus on those things and wait for the weight to start coming off. I will not get discouraged!
On the 12th (Saturday) I will be taking my measurements- wonder if anything has changed from a month ago- I will let you know!
