Stuck? Here is what a PLATEAU can look like!

Thursday, February 10, 2011

hi all

Reading your blogs I see that a lot of us is STUCK! lol

so here is some inspiration for you ;p

I will keep words to minimum let the pics and numbers do the talking

SW: 180
CW: 156 (even LOL)
Height: 5'4

START 8/30/2010
HIP: 43
ARMS: 14

My program (that's another blog, chk out my wkly progress pics journal)

My Week 1 pics, if AFTER I dropped 10 lbs in 1 wk from eating right only!!
no pics! I hate pics! I have NO pics of myself! no before pics!!

Week 1 is the week I started running 30 secs at a time!!! EVERYTHING esle consistent!
EAT RIGHT and increasing exercise!!!

Lost 8 inches bef wk 1 and 10lb

OK so here is PLATEAU #1 (wk 1 to 3) @ 170

9/13/2010- 10/3/2010
WAIST: 33-32 (-1)
HIP: 42-40 (-2)
THIGH'S: 22.5-21 (-1.5)
ARMS: 12.5-12 (-.5)
lost 5 ins

Lost 7 inches and 10 lbs @ BREAK

Then on to PLATEAU # 2 (wk8-wk 19) @ 160

10/31/2010- 1/31/2010
WAIST: 30-28 (-2)
HIP: 37-36 (-1)
THIGHS: 20-18 (-2)
ARMS: 11-11
lost 5 ins

Currently at a BREAK

TODAY? same measurements just 156 ???

Also I want to show you my measuring mistake

Wk 1 vs Wk 22

Green is what I measure, and RED is what I should have measure!
b/c my measurement in the green has been the SAME through out the plateau of 160!

If I did the RED I think I would have saved myself some head banging

I know this doesn't show much! but if you take that theory and apply to the series pic!
I think you will understand what I mean!

I should have measured my abdomen

YES we see biggerchanges when the SCALE moves (-10 lbs and -7-8 inches)

BUT when the scale doesn't move THERE is visible PROGRESS!
even if the SCALE and TAPE doesnt say so!!!

Take pictures!!!!!!!!!

thanks for taking the time to stop by

I haven't lost a pound since around January 26, but I have lost so many inches, it's crazy! I hated not seeing that number go down on the scale, but when I put on some clothes that were extremely tight a couple weeks ago and they slide right on, I know I have accomplished something! I am glad you have illustrated this phenomenon with your photo progress!!! (I am not brave enough as of yet) emoticon

You are looking great!!!

Thanks so much for posting this and keeping me motivated! I need to do the pictures!!! Maybe I'll do that tomorrow!

I'm pretty sure that while I've been in my plateau I've lost in that same red line!

You look great by the way! And congrats on breaking the 160 mark! emoticon

I'm shrinking just not on the scale lol.I know i should just get on with it but a move on the scale after a month would be great.Your pics show how it is not what our negative minds tell us thanks for pointing that out

Yeah, there's gotta be something flawed in your measuring method if you can fit a size 4 now, and then you were an 8-6

Did Jump rope and Jumping Jacks at Move2Lose. Ankle was very unhappy with me but woke up today and it is fine. I think maybe it is stronger than I thought, but that doesn't mean I will let my guard down.
