It seems to me that as we get older we believe that our energy level diminishes. I believe that is true to a point but most of the lack of energy comes from a lack of exercise. If we watch young children we can see that they are always running around, climbing trees, falling out of trees, chasing the dog, being chased by the dog, and so forth. They are always on the move until they have to go to bed.
If you look at a young child that has a gaming system in the house, they are out of shape, out of energy, and definitely not on the move until bed. Most people I talk to, have a person in their life ( or that they know) that is in their sixties but can out work people in their thirties. If you look at this person they are usually on the move until they go to bed. A lot of the jobs older people do, they do because it provides more money. These jobs are mostly jobs that require a lot of sitting. So it is no wonder we start running out of pep because we are not on the move alot.
People that are older are usually a lot more patient, because they have lived through a lot of different diversities that have taught them not to be so worried about things. So older people are more slow to react about things because they think it through before taking action.
So which is it in your life? If it is patience it is a good thing. If it is lack of pep than it can be fixed. We just have to get moving and exercising even when you don't feel like it.
