On the positive side:
I have lost another 7+ pounds which is great! I reached and passed my 5% goal. So now I'm gunning for 10% by mid-march. I am now actually seeing some physical results. My pants fit me much better than they did before, or should I say simply, my pants fit me! (They had gotten a bit tight, but I refused to give them up!)
I have been tracking my food, and eating extremely well. My portion sizes have been very reasonable.
I attended the new Zumba class that I managed to get a spot in and ABSOLUTLEY LOVED IT! This class is with an experienced instructor and much more intense that my other class. I love it!!!! I will attend both Zumba classes from now on.
On the negative side:
I have done nothing more than the Zumba classes. I should be working out more. I need to hit the gym and do some strength training. I also need to work out at home.
I have also been slacking on my water intake. I have come to realize that when I am dehydrated, I get the munchies... or what I think is the munchies. In reality it is really my body crying out for something to drink!!! So I definitely, have to stay hydrated in order to fend that off.
I don't think I'm doing too badly. I still have some areas that need improvement, but overall at least I'm making progress right?
The key to weight loss is consistency, not perfection. So I will continue on my journey with the confidence of knowing that when I am weak, He is strong.
