Day 2: Shakeology 3-Day Cleanse

I'm not gonna lie... day 2 was a rough one.

I got up feeling great. Obviously, from my last blog, I was on top of the world! After my weigh-in I had my morning shake and settled in for the day. But, I was off. I wasn't active at all (by choice, it's Sunday, Superbowl and I was going to have the house to myself!) I woke up with a headache and went to bed with said headache at 10pm. Blerg. All in all, though, it was good.

The day looked like this:

Breakfast: (Around 9am) Cup of hot green tea. (Around 10am-ish) Greenberry Shakeology with 2/3c frozen strawberries and a tsp. of banana extract.
Snack: None. I think I forgot about eating.
Lunch: Chocolate Shakeology with a few icecubes and a tsp. of almond extract.
Snack: Cup of hot green tea (again, why did I not eat?!!)
Dinner: 6oz of salmon (yes, I cheated and had more of the allotted 4oz) and a HUGE salad with iceberg lettuce and fresh spinach. Cukes, cherry tomatoes, baby carrots and 2 tbs. of basalmic vinaigrette. Oh, and I totally threw on 1/2 oz of unsalted sunflower seeds. I just NEEEEEEEEEEDED them!

Result: Down 1.5 lbs this morning!

I felt fabulous when I woke up this morning. Light, thinner, not at all bloated. It's nice.

I'm not sure why yesterday was so rough. I mean, I wasn't doing anything differently from Saturday, and I had the same temptations. (Hubby made my terrific cream cheese/sour cream/corned beef dip recipe and it smelled. so. good. My stomach was eating itself before I had my lunch shake. But really, after the house was empty and I was left to my own devices, it wasn't too bad.

I'm only drinking 32 oz of water though... I should be drinking 2-4 liters according to the cleanse rules.

So, today is the last day. I switched things up because I had lunch plans and ate my salad/protein for lunch. It was delicious, though the hour before heading to the restaurant I could only think of a huge cheeseburger and fries! But, I stuck with it... I'm determined to see this through! And oddly enough, I'm planning my next cleanse for a couple months from now! Twisted, I know!

We'll see what tomorrow brings!
