The treadmill work paid off the month of January when I finished the month with a 5.6# loss! I found myself curious as to what that really amounts to, so I went on a picture search. Glad that THAT thing is gone from my body!! Now, there are about 4 more of those "fat balls" I would like to be rid of!
Now it is February and my weigh in today had me UP 2#'s! Yikes! So, today I revisited my 2011 SP goals and am evaluating.
See the scale move from 177.2 to 165 by my birthday, Feb. 27.
**Well, I am now at 173.6...closer, but may not make that goal...but that won't stop me from pressing onward!
Track my foods Mon-Fri.
** I have been faithfully tracking (but not staying within my calorie range..time to work on that)
On the weekends, I will use just the quick track to log my water, fruits/veggies, and exercise that I may get in.
**Good here, but portion control still an issue
Walk on my treadmill AT LEAST 15 min/day Mon-Fri.
**CHECK!! I will keep this up!
No more "solo" eating out!!! No drive through meals...healthy or not.
I will spin the SP wheel daily in order to participate in the fun log-in point thread...but I will stop focusing on getting SP points. I was wasting way to much time. I believe SP wants me moving...not sitting at the computer.
I will update my SparkPage monthly: this will keep things fresh and it will remind me of my goals each time I do! That will also be a good time to blog how my last month went and any plans for the next month. (Basically having a New Years Day every month!)
Get creative!!! Find varying ways to encourage, motivate and keep the ladies involved on the team. Some ideas are to add a daily conversation question at the end of my morning check in, post weekly challenges, post some fun inter-active games and try to post helpful links to the tips and ideas forum.
**I think this is better...though always room for improvement! (Suggestions always accepted!)
So, in a nutshell, I am happy with my progress, but now need to focus on watching the calorie intake.
