lots of questions?????

Today I am a little down, I didn't lose much weight this week, .5 lbs. and I purposely worked hard to eat my minimum number of calories and exercise and drink the water. I am eating healthy, and seem full, but the scale doesn't lower. I need to loose weight to get out of the pre-diabetic stage. I can gain weight quickly, why is losing it take so long? I am thinking that I need lower minimums since I am older and have had problems with lots of diets in the past. I think I ruined my metabolism!!!! What to do? I need advice!!!! Help!!!!! emoticon

I agree with the other posts. Losing is good. Slow and steady wins the race. Also, you are probably gaining muscle with your exercising. Try to give yourself other indicators of how you are doing.

How are you feeling? more energy? better sleep?
    How are your clothes fitting?

If you are eating right and exercising keep with it.

1/2 a pound is fine! You're on track for healthy, permanent weight loss! The more slowly you lose, the more likely you are to be able to maintain it and keep it off permanently. emoticon
