I really can't wait to move.

Monday, February 07, 2011

July 22, 2011 is the official day... Kind of. That's a Friday, I will probably hit the road Saturday heading to North Carolina to get the kiddies.

I can't wait be around all of my family, have my mom over to play cards like we used to... Even though this ritual used to involve no-bake cookies. Haha. I will have to find something to substitute for that!

I miss making dinner every night, I miss grocery shopping, and doing dishes, all of the little things you guys wouldn't understand that you could miss!

Besides Romeo and Lyric coming from Georgia for the whole month of August, I'm most excited about my job. At my job now, I sit for 10 hours a day. There's no real lunch break because almost my entire shift is a break. I'm also a bored eater, so on really bad days I can sit here and munch on Combos or Chex Mix and Coke all day long.

At my next job, I will work 8 hours a day with a 30 minute lunch break. Because I'll be taking phone calls nonstop basically, there will be no eating allowed. If I remember correctly, I don't think you can have drinks either! Hard candy was okay... I'm kind of weird about hard candy, though. I have this phobia that I'm going to choke on it (I've choked on a life saver when I was in 1st grade, an ice cube when I was in 7th, and a werther's original when I was 7 months pregnant so maybe my fear isn't displaced...) Even my kids who are ages 13 and 9 I don't like for them to have hard candy.

Anyway! My point is that I won't be able to sit on my butt all day stuffing my face. I'm probably going to have breakfast at home and be absolutely famished by lunch time (which is good because here, I'm hardly ever hungry) and then go home and cook dinner. I think maybe I will lose weight just from the new routine alone!

Next thing I'm excited about is getting a treadmill! I'm pretty sure this will be my first non-essential item I buy for my new home, you know besides FURNITURE, dishes, pots and pans and what not... Lol we have nothing! I used to have a treadmill but I didn't really know how to use it. I'd run for as long as I could (about a minute or so, I'm not joking lol) and then hang on to the bars for dear life, lean my head on the monitor part and gasp for breath walking at 1 mile an hour... Now I have found c25k, and running it on a track is murder! I can't help but think a treadmill will be easier (and I know easier isn't always better but it is for a weakling like me! At first anyway) .. And so many things stop me from going to a track (like time, weather, etc.) that just won't be an issue in my basement!

Man, I really can't wait to move. Hurry, July. PLEASE!

Weird, my sister choked on a red hot when she was young right after my dad told her not to run with candy in her mouth. Well, I guess if you dont get a couch and only have a treadmill, it will force you to use it...I agree, a treadmill is easier than actually running! emoticon

PS just felt like throwing in an off the wall emocion today, dont know why
