On the other hand....

So yesterday was not so great for me. Fell into a funk. Have a team assignment due for Statistical Applications tomorrow and as of last check this morning, not one person (besides myself, of course) has turned in their portion. UGH! emoticon This class is stressful for me too, but I'm not willing to cause the TEAM to fail because of my lack of effort. Anywho...

I decided that I'm not going to be in such a bad mood this morning. I'm just going to have to choose to be in a happy place...and I did. I got up this morning and went for a jog. Beat my best time. On the treadmill, I get like a 20 min/mile. This morning, I hit a 14 min/mile. emoticon Yep you heard right!

I am expecting a weight gain this week, but that's because I have started doing more strength training. So I'm going to TRY to not be so disappointed at tomorrow's weigh in. emoticon

Week 2 no FFF is done- I WON! No fast or fried foods for me. Two weeks to go and challenge is done! emoticon emoticon emoticon

It was something else that I wanted to tell you all, but I've forgotten. Guess, I'll have to post again later if I remember.

    girl a 14 min mile is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I"m just now able to do 15min :P. Way to go!!!!!!!

    I, too, hated team assignments. I never thought it was very fair that my grade be dependent on anyone but myself. Congrats on the run, though. Feels good to do something you didn't think you could do, doesn't it?

I remember "Team" assignments all to well..and the only thing you can do is your part...hopefully the rest of your group will get their act together...

    Congratulations on beating your personal record jogging! You really sped up! I hated doing group assignments in school too. You just have to do what you were responsible for, and if you have time, even more. In highschool, sometimes I would do my partner's work in Biology, because they just weren't that bright, or they wouldn't apply themselves. Just do your best!

    Exercise is the best stress management tool ever!! Well, that and alcohol :) But one will help you meet your goals and the other will definitely set you back.

Guess ya'll are thawing out down there. I woke up to snow. BOO!!
