Go Red!!

Saturday, February 05, 2011

So Good Day Sparkfam!! Its been a decent day thus far although I have been sitting in the house waiting for the gas company to come out & do an inspection. I got nothin! They didn't call & now I am behind my schedule.

Anyho, I am about to get up & make me a spot of oatmeal & get this day started. Its funny how I had 2 days off this week due to the storm but I feel like I worked the whole week. I had to shovel for 2 days only to come home yesterday to find my perfectly shoveled spot that was held by lawn chairs out of the spot. Even though I told my husband that I was no longer using chairs, I believed it was our christian duty to shovel & not worry about the next guy not shoveling. But anyway, the city or someone came through & plowed our whole block! I was amazed & happy & took my chairs & put them back in the yard.

So yesterday I did wear red & I am trying to wear red everyday this month for awareness of heart disease in women. I pray for we find a cure for many of the diseases that ails us but also know that good health starts with healthy food, fitness, water & sleep. We have to take care of ourselves for posterity. You only got one you, how are you going to go red for your health?

God bless & about to eat my oatmeal breakfast & get my vitamins & oj on!

Dee I don't blame you I used chairs too to hold my spot we spend 4 hours shoveling snow. But, I am glad they plowed your street. Hang in there spring is around the corner.

Did you hear the news report about city officials asking people not to try to hold shoveled parking spots with objects? It's just too bad that thinking about others eludes some people!...I am glad that the city plowed your street. They finally plowed ours Saturday... With all the complaints, I really think they did the best that they could do considering the magnitude of the storm.

Anyway... thanks for the reminder about wearing red... I actually have a little red dress pen that I was given a few years ago at a Weight Watchers meeting.

Take care and keep up the good work ...
