Friday, comfort eating...Oops

Friday, February 04, 2011

So I feel rotten today, my throat aches and I'm tired and sore. I'm hoping that a good nights sleep will settle this. But this has lead to a slight break down in will power-I had two cupcakes, a creme egg and a pizza today-not great, and I'm recording my weight tomorrow. BOO emoticon

But even though I did mess up alittle, I can find some positives. I ordered the pizza from Dominos, and I got a small 7.5" personnal pizza with half fat cheese, rather than the small or medium with full fat.

So I can be proud of that I guess.

Dominos always comes with a really creamy dip, which I didn't pour on my pizza like I usually do.

So I can be proud of that.

I didn't order any sides

So I can be proud of that

And I only had one creme egg after school at the shop. Usually I have to spend the whole £5 in my pocket and I only spent 50p because I haven't had a creme egg for about a year because they are a seasonnal candy.

So I guess even though I didn't really stick to my meal plan, I managed to modify my behaviour positively so that's not TOO bad.

I was too tired to do a proper long run tonight, so I just did a mini one around our lake. I'll be doing a 'real' run tomorrow morning and burn off a few pizza calories emoticon emoticon emoticon
To all my sparkfriends, have a great weekend!

Are they Cadbury Eggs? I know we have them around Easter in the U.S. I LOVE them. They are my weakness. Sometimes you just have to treat yourself or else you are going to overeat. I denied myself chocolate for a long time and then I had a chocolate binge for about three days. :)

Agreed! Great job on finding small alternatives! Life will never be perfect, and if we mess up here and there, that's perfectly normal. I'm so glad you're looking at the brighter side of things. ;)

Weekends are always the most difficult, so don't go crazy (which is my personal goal too), but enjoy yourself.

You can message me too if you need support!!!

And spinning is a type of class on stationary bikes - it's actually pretty hard. The instructor leads you on different intervals and resistance levels. You can actually burn close to 1,000 calories in one class. Judging by your blog, it sounds like you don't live in the states, so I don't know about the availability of classes in your area - but I would still look it up. It's very challenging, but fun. To me, it's one of those classes that you're too focused on pushing yourself to pay attention to anyone else.

I'm actually kind of more self-conscious about taking a Zumba class or something like that, lol.

Anyway, have a rockin weekend!!!
