Cautiously optimistic

Wednesday, February 02, 2011

Oh...please understand this blog will be whiny emoticonbecause I think we are all on the same page. When is the last time you can remember such continually crappy weather? It has snowed in EVERY state except Florida! Hawaii had snow I think, don't you find something ALL wrong with that? People... it's snowing in HAWAII and ARIZONA! emoticon
Then...myself included...have begun to give these snow events names...Snowpocolyspe, Snowlapalooza, and yep...Snowmaggadeon...you really don't have to wonder what any of those made up words may suggest...ummmmm...a little more than flurries! Maybe this emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticonversus this emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
Ask yourself this...did Punxsutawney Phil, the groundhog, see his shadow? Will we have an early spring? SERIOUSLY!!! Hell, Philadelphia had to dig ole' Phil out of the snow! ENOUGH ALREADY!!! I think I'll write Mother Nature a note and have a chat with the old girl about this crap! Hmmm do you think the old girl just may be menopausal and perhaps mistook a hotflash as some flippin' sign of spring?...If I could just see emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticonor maybe even emoticonor emoticonI would be soooooo happy...but I know I need to drop it down a notch...it's only February...but like anyone south of Siberia, I would like to view the emoticonthrough emoticonand the emoticonafter the emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticonfear not!...hold on to dreams of emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticonand emoticonor a emoticonin the park...take a deep breath...exhale and remain cautiously optimistic.

The weather is finally breaking here in North Carolina, but we are currently being teased with temperatures in the 70's and 80's one day and the 40's the next. LOL And as a summer bunny, at this point, I am fit to be tied!! But since temper tantrums don't seem to be helping, I just throw my contempt into my workouts and hope it gets warm soon. One thing is for sure. You will NOT hear me complain about 90 degree weather this year!!

Love your rant:) The pacific northwest actually has some of the best weather in the nation right now. Snow in the mountains (where it belongs), cool and sunny down here but with showers moving in soon. Mild temps. I really am glad I'm not in the east or midwest right now. Ugh. It looks really scary:(

Here's to Spring and all the promise it brings with it.......if it ever comes!

I know how lucky I am as I watch the TV and news of all the folks in the states getting pounded on with the snow and storms...but here in central Mexico it is lovely. But my heart goes out to you.
Keep warm.
Sallie
