After reading the messages re: getting past not wanting to exercise, I put on my running shoes, grabbed my MP3 player, and headed for "Ellie". Did an abbreviated version of the beginners interval training program (20 min instead of 30) and.......IT FELT GOOD!!!! Now I need to focus on that feeling and use it as a motivational tool.
I've also gone back and changed some of my fitness goals to more achievable levels. As for the baby steps, each day I write down one goal to" score" in my journal and, when I score, I write it down in big letters. My goal for today was to do 17 min on Ellie and I actually did 20!
THAT'S going to be a motivational tool for me.
Now it's time to head for the shower!!
