Went camping with my sister last weekend. We each brought a daughter and a dog. So it was two sisters and their daughters, or two aunts and their nieces, or two cousins and their mothers--depending on how you wanted to look at it.
The evening before we left, the six of us (don't forget the dogs) went for an after-dinner walk. While talking to a group of fellow campers, my niece asked an older gentleman, "We're only going to be here one more day, what is the one thing we just can't miss?"
He smiled a little sheepishly, and then said we should go to the bookstore. After further inquiry he indicated that the proprietor is 'rather scantily clad.' Interesting. Until we found out that the proprietor was a male. Then it became INTERESTING!

I am still amazed at the marketing genius of this guy. We all know that 'word of mouth' advertising is the best...not to mention the cheapest.
After seeing this poster, we had to oblige...especially after my daughter had posted on Facebook that there was a naked guy at the bookstore (with her smart phone), and had already gotten inquiries back from her cousins.
So here's my niece with the owner:
He's a really amazing individual. We bought a city map that he had drawn (as was the poster in the first photo) and autographed. Besides being a musician and entrepreneur, he is on the local planning board and a Chamber of Commerce member.
So, if you're ever driving out Interstate 10, take a little detour on exit 17 (U.S. 95) just inside the western Arizona border to Quartzsite. Paul's on the east side of town on the main street.
