January Review + February Goals!

Starting stats:
First and foremost, January was a pretty great month. We started the New Year, No Excuses Challenge through the WLW and I feel really great. I have been practicing yoga 2-3 times per week and eating a LOT more fruits and veggies. I've been getting my green juices on in the mornings more often and I can really tell the difference in how great I feel. I crave them when I don't have them, which is awesome!

I measured myself this morning and was pretty happy with the results!

January 1:
Size: 12
Weight: 182.8
Bust: 40.5
Neck: 13.6
Hips: 44.2
Waist: 34.3
Bicep: 13.3
Thighs: R: 23.1 L: 23.7*
Calf: 16

January 31:
Size: 12's are too loose, need to go shopping!
Weight: 177.9
Bust: 39.5
Hip: 43
Waist: 33
Bicep: 13.1
Thigh: R: 22.5 L: 22.2
Calf: 15.2

Totals for January:

Yay! I've felt slimmer in my waist and arms so it's cool to have the numbers to prove it. I didn't realize how much slimmer my thighs have gotten, so that's pretty cool too. I have to admit that I didn't rock it out as hard as I would have liked to, so my goal for February is to really sweat it out. I plan to start running again and strength training on a more regular basis, incorporating those two with my current yoga schedule. Doug (my boyfriend) is also joining the Y since his membership ran out at his current gym so we can also schedule work out time together, which I am REALLY psyched about.

Goals for February:

Run 2-3x per week
Yoga 2-3x per week
Strength 2-3x per week
Complete low-iodine diet in preparation for radioactive treatment (the next two weeks)
Complete radioactive treatment while staying active and positive!
Have a clean, cancer-free scan on the 18th!
Have a super excellent 28th birthday on 2/8!

I stopped giving myself days to do specific things, and found that it works better for me if I say I want to do this "x" times and give myself the flexibility each week to schedule it. I'm excited to continue to improve in muscle, fitness and health this month. It's a short one, but it's my favorite since it's my birthday :)

I'm sure I have other goals but I am finishing up one as we speak - my second grad application! Done! I'll blog about my 2011 goals in another post.
