I did it! I have successfully met goal number 1 of a 4lb weight loss at the end of January. wooHOOO Actually, I surpassed my expectation, by 5lbs - yep, the scale shows I've lost of total of 9lbs for the month.
The goal for next month is to lose 12lbs. I'm a little apprehensive about that - but I think I can do it. In January, I focused on staying within my caloric intake. For February, I am going to continue to work on my caloric intake - and I'm going to add strength exercises.
That's my plan - it's simple.
