It's really winter

Monday, January 31, 2011

Snow, snow and more snow. I open the door for our dog and she sees a wall of snow everywhere.

Cali wanders around confused--where can she find a little privacy to do what she does....

So we send out or 6' tall son for perspective.

Okay-my back aches and I only shoveled 30 minutes. 12" more is expected tomorrow and Wednesday.

Do I love this--you bet I do. Hardest thing is leaving the house to go swimming--walking outside is out of the question--no sidewalks!

Take care, keep warm, and stay healthy!

Looks like our house. We got beat down on too a few weeks ago (midwest). It is finally starting to melt.

Your pictures say it all! We're having snow and wind here in MN today, and have received 6" so far. It's supposed to continue through tomorrow morning!
I've already been in the ditch, been towed out, have been to the clinic, (we're just fine, but for hubby's broken, bruised, and cut toe!) and now are home calling it a "vacation day"!!

We moved from New Jersey to Massachusetts because we wanted more snow. This winter is about the third in 25 years that New England has lived up to its reputation. I do love it!

Wow, that is a lot of snow! I only see this much snow in pictures because we may only get 2 inches per year but we get a lot of ice. I don't like the ice. I hope you stay warm and enjoy the snow!
