I am adding this to my goals today. I am going to try to use my pedometer every day for the month of February. I started today so that I'd have an even 4 weeks since today is Sunday. I am going to track myself both on and off Spark to see how I do. So I have a 4 week goal and a "month of February" goal.
And you know what? 10,000 steps is A LOT!!!! I barely hit 4,000 today and that was WITH some extra walking around the house just to get the last few steps in. I also DID go for a walk this afternoon by myself too, and still didn't hit 5,000 much less 10,000.
The goal is to USE it though, not to worry about the number of steps. From what I've read my step counts should increase just by using the pedometer. When I LOOK at the numbers then I will be more motivated to get those numbers to climb.
