Don't really have that much to say, no big breakthroughs or anything over here. So this is just a random post about my last week.
I have banned Doritos from the house. My husband came home with them twice last week and I found out that I have NO WILLPOWER against them! I asked him to please not bring them into the house any more. He is welcome to eat them if he likes but I told him to please do it while he is at work and not to bring any here. He kind of made fun of me but I know that he will respect my request.
My mini stepper broke a couple of weeks ago. I was going to buy another one but don't really feel like spending the $ on it right now. I found a "Biggest Loser" workout DVD for $5 and bought that. So far I like it, especially that I can change up the order and routine of the workout any time I like. Have not done the same work out once yet this week
I am looking forward to being able to workout outside again soon. Probably could have this week already but to get up to the road from the house there is still about 2 feet of snow and I don't really feel like trying to get the stroller up through that! I think that this spring I am going to try the Couch to 5 K program again. I tried last summer but my knee did not survive past week 3. I am hoping that the increased strength training I have done this winter will help with this because I know my legs are definitely stronger now then they were even two months ago! While I have not seen to much movement on the scale I definitely feel better and have more energy.
I started on my reduced dose of medication on Monday. I was worried that I would have trouble falling asleep as I have been on this medication dose since the summer and it's side effect is drowsiness so I take it before bed. So far I have had no trouble falling asleep so I am really happy about that! I will be on this dose for a month and then half it again for a month and then hopefully be off it all together!
Toilet training is going fairly well. Monday and Tuesday were not good days but for the most part he is doing very well, better than my other 2 did when I started training them! He is also sleeping through the night and napping fairly regularly. We took away his soother and since then he has slept through the night as he no longer looses it and has to find it in the night. So very nice!!!!
I am going to be working from home again doing medical transcription. I plan to do it in the evening when hubby is home so he can look after the kiddos. Little nervous about how my wrist will tolerate the increased typing but rest does not help it either so not much I can do about that but just get through it!
Any way, that's all for now. Hope everyone is having a great week and is pressing onward to reach their goals
