Didn't want to work out this morning

Thursday, January 27, 2011

So with my work schedule being second shift its sometime hard for me to muster up the energy to get my workout in. I get home late and have to get up early to drop my son off at school and usually all I want to do is crawl back in the bed catch a few more hours of sleep before I have to head off to work. Well if I do that then those couple of hours turn into every hour I have before its time to leave the house for work.Well if I continue on this path I will never workout so, no matter how tired I think I am I make sure I workout first and then if I have time I take a shower and a quick power nap. You know what I have found out in the last few days is if I workout I'm not longer tired.

So with that being said Week One Day 4 Fire 30/ Stretch 30 is done emoticon, tomorrow is Fire 55 EZ not scheduled rest days until Wednesday so six days straight exercise scheduled.

Like Chalene says, sometimes you just have to push play. I have literally dragged myself to the DVD player sometimes, but never regret it. 99% of the time I get into once I start.

I have come to find out that if I work out before anything else I have to do that day I get enough energy not to need a nap. It keeps me motivated to do other things like pick up the house or cook a healthy lunch. Good luck on your journey your doing great so far

WOOT WOOT, I know the feeling, though, in not wanting to work out. UGH! But I also know the exuberance you feel after you make the decision to just DO IT!
