I gained a lot of weight back last year but am getting things together now. I weighed in at 625lbs on Jan. 1st and have lost 8lbs in the last 3 weeks. I joined OA and between that and prayer I am making so great progress. Thanks for the support everyone and have a great week!

    Just keep working with it my brother. You will get there. Remember, even if you have to take two steps forward and then fall back one, you are still further ahead than where you were.

    Tim - It is great to see a new video post. I think joining OA was a great idea, especially with the frequent online support. I also love the ideas that you are going to walk a little and focus on changing lifesytle as opposed to having number goals. I also gained at the end of 2011 (up 15 lbs compared to summer) so I am hiring a personal trainer which I hope will help keep me focused. Winter is always a hard time for me. Hope you have a great week

    I'm so happy that you are getting back up on that horse. 2010 is behind you. What matters is today. You have the spirit and god's will behind you. Know that your SP family is also behind you. :) :)

You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!     Thanks for taking the time to vlog Tim...I came specifically on your site today to see if you had posted one yet lol just checking up on you :) I'm down & out with a cold right now too, so I feel you on that...no fun. I'm not healthy enough to get back to exercising just yet, but I'm hoping to come back strong. I love your plan & determination with the walking a 100 or so more feet each time you progress. I can't wait to hear about hitting milestone's like 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, or a mile! You'll have to keep us posted on that! 2010 is in the past, so just learn from the mistakes that were made and remember all the victories you had too. I hope your able to make it to church soon with your brother, I'm sure it will mean only good things for you. Also I think it's a great idea that your not putting pressure on yourself to lose "x" amount of weight this week or this month or year. As long as your working towards your goals and doing the right things and losing weight more often than not.. any amount of weight...then your golden!

    Glad to hear things are turning around. I'm with you on the number thing, I don't care what the number is as long as it's moving in the right direction! Online meetings every 3 hours sounds like a great resource, make sure you take full advantage of them. We'll make sure to include you in our prayers.

    You can do this Tim. I will have to look into OA for online meetings. I am a compulsive overeater. I added the link to OA on my team and I looked up meetings for my area and they have them on Tuesdays at 7 pm. Right now I am unable to go at that time, I am also kinda shy to go. It is alot easier in front of a computer monitor.

You have great goals and alot to look forward to. Just keep reminding yourself why you want to lose the weight. I even go so far as to put reminders up around the house. I have a dress hanging that I bought that does not fit and I need to lose probably 40 pounds for it to fit but me seeing it everyday seems to help remind me.

    Hi,glad to see you back .....
Don't try to loose too fast , that is against you.
We all, I guess want it off quickly, but that is against your health, and your body.
2 lbs a week is a plenty to lose a week. Look at 2 lbs of hamburger meat, and you can see really how much 2 lbs. is.
I thank God that He has helped me I lost about 41 lbs in 6 1/2 months. I am about 3 lbs less than my goal. I could have not make it without God's help, and I will not maintain it with out God's help.
It is possible, you will be weak, and sometimes mess up, just remember the next meal start back. Drink water, consistency and portion control,are keys to losing.
Remember we are human , and we will over eat, BUT don't let that stop you, just climb back on track.
Between OA , Stark, and God you can make this journey.
Others have done and so can you. Never give up.

    It's great that you are able to do the online meetings and that they are available so often throughout the day/night. Just keep it up Tim and the positive things you are doing will all add up. 8 pounds lost will turn into 80 and then 180 etc. Speaking of doing positive things to be healthy and lose weight, I need to track my food and get a big glass of water, lol!
