Psalm 119:105

"Your Word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path."

*********************

I remember this verse from childhood as it was our theme verse for Pioneer Girls. I don't believe I really gave it much thought at the time other than "time to say the verse." Now I see how beautiful this verse is and how much it says. He guides the steps I take each day. His Word sheds light on my present path so I'll know what steps to take. For further, future instruction I must keep checking with Him daily!

Love that verse! I remember making a plaster wall plaque and painting it in Vacation Bible School with that verse on it. I am sure my mom still has it somewhere. Thanks for sharing the verse today! emoticon emoticon

I too, love this verse. I remember it from the pledge to the Bible we said each summer for Vacation Bible School.

And, yes, just recently those words became relevant to my journey to a new lifestyle. Thanks for the reminder.

One of my favorite verses. Amy Grant sings a song with this verse in it that has also been a favorite. I remember at a youth camp when I was young making a craft that had this verse with a path and a sun shining down on it too. Thanks for bringing those memories back to me!
