I started eating right again on 08/14/10 & dropped ~9 lbs between then and Christmas, however I have only been faithfully working out daily (alternating Zumba & ST) and calorie counting since 01/03/11.
I have been noticing subtle changes, and with the help of the RMPPC I have seen those changes in photos, motivating me to work even harder. Well, lately (as in the past week) I've noticed my pants have been feeling looser and looser. I went from a size 6 to a 4, then a 2 back in December, and found that I could even fit in some 0's of certain brands, but I did not buy new jeans because I already had plenty of 4's and they fit well enough.
Well, I think that might have to change and perhaps a little shopping trip is in order, because now my 4's are to the point that they bag in the back & slip down off of my hips as I'm walking. I can also easily pull them off without unbuttoning them (I would demonstrate this, but I don't have a web cam, and I don't think it would be internet appropriate, lol).
Last night I went to teach CPR & First Aid to a cub scout group and after I put my jeans on, I changed my mind and put my scrub pants on instead since I can cinch those up. I guess being a nurse can come in handy in my clothing attire as well, lol!
This morning I stepped on the scale and do you know what it said? 120.6 lbs. ONE-HUNDRED-TWENTY POINT SIX POUNDS! omg, I fell off the scale. I am now within my goal pound. I would love to be at 120 give or take a little for maintenance. I reweighed myself three times just to be sure the scale wasn't lying to me. What can I say? I'm a scale skeptic.
It is so motivating to not only be feeling 100% better, have more energy, more self-esteem, more quality in my life, but to be able to SEE the changes as well.
These are photos I took this morning of my FRESHLY WASHED & DRIED 4's. You can imagine how much looser they are as they stretch out throughout the day/s (and maybe I'm gross & lazy, but unless I get my jeans dirty, I wear them two or three times before I wash them again. I shower all the time!).
It's kind of hard to see the bagginess in the legs, but I swear my legs are being swallowed in these jeans.
You can see it a little better in this one.
Now in comparison, here is the one pair of 2's I own. They fit much better. These ones actually fit my legs (see, I told you they weren't as big as the 4's make them look!)
And here is a pic of me in those same pair of 4's back in October @ ~125 lbs (5 lbs heavier, also before I started working out). They were definitely tighter.
So, there you have it! Eat RIGHT, work out HARD, PUSH yourself, and you WILL SEE RESULTS!
Have a wonderful day, Sparkers!!
