it was the worst of times. My breakfast was a low point for me - candy and coffee. Some of the candy was sugar-free, but that just made things worse, since it has a laxative effect. However, I was able to rise from there (not so hard, considering how low it was) :-)
Lunch was coffee and popcorn. (ok, not so much of a rise), but dinner - ah dinner. One of the good/bad parts about being unemployed and poor is that I eat at home, instead of eating out. Every day. Whether I want to or not. But I have started cooking more, instead of just heating things up. Tonight I made sort of a Hungarian inspired dish - ground beef, basmati rice, tomato paste and lots of smoked paprika. Added some greek yogurt at the very end. Delicious! It's still sitting in my stomach like a ton of bricks, but it was good going down.
I have enough to freeze, too, I think. (That depends on if the boy starts in on it.) But all this obsessive tracking is really helping to remind me that everything I eat counts. Not just the good food, or just the junk food. Everything.
