MS Walk

Friday, January 21, 2011

Iíve joined Walk MS to do something about multiple sclerosis now. At its most global level, movement is all around us, and whether physical or mental, we are always a part of it.

People with MS know something about moving that most of us donít understandómoving is not a guarantee. MS stops people from moving. Together, we can ensure that it doesnít.

Please help by making a donation to support my fundraising efforts. Money raised will support education, advocacy, research and local programs that enhance the quality of life for people with MS and their families. Click here to visit my personal web page to make a secure, online donation. If you prefer, you can mail a check to the National MS Society, Walk MS, 2440 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Ste. 115, Los Angeles, CA 90064. Please be sure to put my name in the memo portion of the check so it will be credited to my fundraising efforts.

Join me at the walk! Walk MS is our rallying point, a time and a place for our communities to come together to raise funds and celebrate hope for the future.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is dedicated to moving us toward a world free of MS. They fund research into effective MS therapies and also help people with MS to live powerful, meaningful lives. I believe in the work they do.

Sincerely,
Debbie Johnson

Make all checks payable to National MS Society and please put my name in the memo portion of the check.

What a great cause. I've been donating to the breast cancer cause and now have started participating in the runs and not just donating money. So a double win for me. Hope your efforts pay off big!

I would like to know if there is a MS walk close to my area that I could join. My mother, two of my aunts, my grandmother, two of my great uncles, and my great grandfather all have or had MS. I'm going to see if I can find a walk near me.

Always good to support worthy causes- I do for the Dystonia Society as I have dystonia.
It's good to give back.

I have signed up for the MS Bike Kansas City ride in September. I have a nephew with MS. This is a great cause and a great way to do something for someone else and for yourself at the same time! Thanks for walking!
