Instead, I walked about four and half miles at a good clip.
I walked from one side of Manhattan, east to west, from the east river to the hudson :) That's more than three miles. Central Park was blissfully quiet...
I also walked to and from work, which is like 3/4 mile each way, so it brings my total walking to four and half miles, plus I took the stairs - 7 flights - one time.
I had a Dr. appt. across town and hen it was done, it was rush hour. I realized my workout will not happen either way. It was a toss-up between a 20 minute taxi ride and no exercise or a 50 minute walk, and I did the walk, and it felt great. So this week I had two turbo/chalean days that I subbed other exercise with, but it's ok - since I hope to burn the same total calories I normally do.
But I missed turbo today, can't wait to kick it on Friday! Tomorrow is a lifting day, i am still sore in my quads from burn 3 - going heavy on the squats is still being felt.
