Raw nuts ;) Not as loud, very filling and satisfying treat. I am also a college student and i always bring a small bag of raw unsalted cashews to snack on during classes.
As far as water goes about 10 glasses will suffice, however i would recommend 10-15 as well.
Good luck !! You are going to do great!

I drink about 10-15 glasses of water per day. Your body will get used to it in time & it really does help with the weight loss.

Have you tried dried fruit? Baked banana chips are awesome, but you have to find the ones with low cal. and low fat. Some brands are baked with oils. You can find them at natural or organic food store or isle. Apples or orange slices fill you up pretty well. emoticon

Fruit, blueberries, strawberries, air popcorn are quite. Also Nabisco 100 calorie snacks are great, cookies, bars, chex mix, you don't have to guess how many calories your eating. Most are listed under food search for your calorie counter. You will get use to the water, 8 8 oz or 64 oz is enough, maybe you should pace yourself throughout the day/evening. Hang in there your doing great. emoticon emoticon
