My Glisten Runneth Over

Tuesday, January 18, 2011

I learned years ago from my MIL that LADIES do NOT sweat. We GLISTEN.

If that is indeed the case, then today my GLISTEN runneth over.

I started with a .5 mile walk in 10 minutes, as a warm up. Then came inside and did Days 2 & 3 of the 28 day Boot Camp.

I glistened.

Not ready to stop, I did two Cardio Blast workouts, back to back.

I glistened MORE.

Back outside to walk some more. Did 1.25 miles in 25 minutes.

DEFINETLY glistening now!

Put in the Cardio Blast again, and repeated the two done earlier.

Cooling down, I needed my towel. My GLISTEN was running over.

Over my forehead, my temples, into my eyes, running down my cheeks.

My sweatshirt was wet with glisten.

My hair was wet with Glisten.

My underarms had Glisten running down the sides of my body, and at the small of my back, where the waistband of my sweats were, the glisten had moistened the fabric.

All in all, my GLISTEN Runneth over!

Now to the shower to dry off.

Good job! When I finished my WATP tape and Day 3 of the Boot Camp, I was quite damp. Not nearly as wet as you, but I definitely was wet.

You go! You are a DYNAMO with the exercise right now, you're putting me to shame!

Yeah, I don't glisten, I sweat like a horse. I know ladies just glisten, but there's no way to describe what I do when I really work out besides sweat; when it drips, it's sweat.

    AND I LOVE IT!!!
