Week 3 - Action Plan for Jan 17 - 23, 2011

Beginning week three down 10 pounds and overall I am happy with my progress. There have been some hits and misses. Even with my mishaps I feel strongly that I am moving in the direction that I need to be. Still highly motivated to keep moving. I am not only working on the physical but on the mental and spiritual. Working on the whole me has effected how I feel about losing the weight. I feel strongly that this will be the last time I re-lose this weight.

Here is my plan for this week. Working out wise pretty much the same as last week. What I am noticing is that I start the week very strong and about Thursday I start to slack off. One of these reasons is that 24 does not offer many classes Friday - Sunday. I enjoy the classes and find it much easier to get through my hours while in the class environment. So one of my goals this week is to push myself in the gym outside of the classes.

I also am still struggling with running. I know that this is a get tool in weight loss, over all health, and a key component in getting through boot camp. I can not avoid it. I am going to have to force myself to get through the c25k. No excuses this week on the running must do it. I had downloaded a itunes c25k pod cast but have yet to use it. Lets see if that helps to motivate me to finish.

On the food side I am definitely eating over all much healthier. There was about three meals this week where I was not on the healthy side. But much better than the week before. I still need to eat more frequently. I am going to prep at least two days worth of food in advance in insure that I have no excuses.

    I have access to the campuse gym again starting tomorrow, so I'm starting the C25K plan tomorrow. I too start loosing steam on Thursday's, we just have to remember that we're worth the time and effort! congrats on the amazing loss, and good luck this week! emoticon

    OK - I must ask - for the list of activities, are those your class options at the gym that you like or are you doing each of those activities every day?

Congrats on your 10 pound loss and for making smart, healthy food choices along the way!

I'm also starting a running program, using the Spark 5k training instead of c25k.
