Mid January Blues

I often wish I had more intelligent things to write about in fact I have had several times where I had meant to commit to memory a profound thought I had had (yes I can still get them at my advanced age of 49) to use HERE only to forget it). It has been snowing practically non stop going on 2 weeks now and even though it might be honest exercise I am getting sick to death of shovelling (not to mention how high the piles are and the fact that I am running out of spots to put the @##$#@~!! stuff). I also dislike the fact that we haven't had much in the way of sunshine yet this month (usually its cold and sunny - which s better than cold AND cloudy) coupled with the fact that its dark when I go to work and the sun is setting less than an hour after I get home. (What did my ancestors do before artificial lighting ??). The only saving grace I can see is that the month is nearly half over and in a couple of months it should be spring. Can't come too soon. At least we don't get a lot of tornadoes and we don't have troubles with snakes and insects as much as some other folks do.
