  Hey, I got motivated also after turning 40 last year, but it wasn't until a friend heard I was going to start working out and said wow, you are pretty anyway, but can you imagine what you would be like pretty and thin? (She was a thin friend) I hit 60 lbs. today!

You don't need curves, start with walking in place 1 min and then jumping jacks for 1 min. do this as long as you can and build up to 20 min. Or crank up that radio and dance! It is the little things you do everyday that will change your life. Good luck!

    Good luck on your journey, I also have fought my weight for my entire life. I was turning 60 in a year and decided it was my time to get this under control, so a year and a half ago I joined SP and I have lost 80 pounds. I won't say it was the easiest thing I have ever done, but it certainly was not the hardest. I have consistently logged my food and I exercise three times a week at the local YMCA. I know it was this web site and all the friends and support I have gotten that has helped me. I plan to remain an active member for ever.
