Jillian Michaels DVD

I was at Target yesterday and saw that all of Jillian's DVDs were on sale (all exercise DVDs were..probably a January thing) and decided to pick up one called "30 Day Shred". I got home Friday night, sat down in my comfy chair, and looked at the DVD's cover... and decided that I'd much rather do something fun like dance around like a floozy to The Pussycat Dolls workout DVD.
But tonight, I thought I'd give it a try. Actually, I finished it about 2 hours ago. I put the DVD in to find that there are 3 levels... beginner, intermediate, and advanced. After reading some Amazon reviews last night and learning that some people had to do the beginner's level with no hand weights at all because it isn't so easy, I decided to start on beginner.

Jesus tap-dancing Christo.

Jillian means business. It's a 20 minute-workout, but good heavens, does it deliver. My abs are still trembling... not just sore, but trembling! So are my arms. I think everyone who works out at home should go get this DVD. I'm not gonna's HARD. But it's do-able. And she's so encouraging. Seriously, go get it. Right now!

    That's the only one I've heard about, and I heard it kicks your butt and then some lol. I definitely want to try it! emoticon

    The very first time I did that workout I started with 10lb weights lol! I figured I usually lift 10-15 so.....Well I learned very very quickly that was not going to happen! I love that workout, so good for when you are short on time!!! JM is rocks and her workouts deliver!
Great job, keep it up!

    I have that workout and it is hard. It is also hard on the knees. I had to shelve it because my bad knee will not keep up. So, I agree, great workout -- but if you have knee problems, not a good one!

    It was on my CHristmas Wish List after I borrowed it from the library. I've watched it but haven't started it yet. Today I picked up her 6-Pack Abs in 6 Weeks dvd from the library & have looked at that. I only get to borrow the dvd for a week....might have to go out & get this one too.
I go to the gym 3x/week & play on my Wii Fit once a week. I'm just not sure about starting the 30DS yet...but emoticon ! That's great that you did it. The soreness is temporary... emoticon
