So my goal today was to take measurements of my body and to take the four step fitness test. And after running everyone around town today, I finally got to my goal.
I learned that while my measurements are HUGE.. and I have alot of work ahead of , that I measured in the Low Health Risk range. I am pear shape, and this is the one thing I have done right... and it is genetic... you know what is going right for me??? It is my pear shape because I carry my fat in a way that LOWERS health risks for me. I carry my fat the BEST that can be done. I am a great FAT CARRIER!! I feel so good!! Yes there is some sarcasm, but truly I am VERY happy to be in the low health risk category!!
Then I took the fitness test and I learned that I am at the average fitness level for push ups, and at the EXCELLENT level for crunches (who'd a thunk!) and of course I am in the poor level (just 2 points from average) for aerobic fitness per the results of the 3 minute step up test. So I am not in a HUGE whole when it comes to getting myself back in shape. And this is encouraging and it inspired me- to stay positive!!
So all is not lost, I feel like I am not starting at the bottom... I can do this!!
