Saurtday Jan.15

Saturday, January 15, 2011

So it's Saturday already. Only down 1lb this week but somehow I expected that. I will not let that get me down , 1 lb is 1 lb less towards my goal.
Today was a short work day for me, so when I left work I drove into Summerside and decided to check out our options for our planned vacation in March. Everything looks good for our expected date of departure and the resort we would like to go to. Now we just need to get the deposit and final payment by Feb.5
Now today turned out to be a very lovely day and when I got home I decided I was taking the dog and heading to Cavendish for a walk. We went to the park where we like to walk the trails and behold signs posted only opened to skiers(cross country) no walkers...BUMMER. So I head back up the road to drive into the park from the campground end, park the car and walk the road into the parking lot at Cavendish Beach. It was so nice. My stress level has dropped and I feel relaxed.
My husband brought home fresh mussels for supper. I will steam them with carrots, celery, onion, and sliced lemons. Yummy. I just might throw in some broccoli too.
That's my dayin a nut shell. Tomorrow I'm off to Charlottetown with my daughter to check out the flea market.

What a lovely day hope you have fun with your daughter at the flea market, I wish I lived closer to one, but driving for a hour to get to Fredericton and then driving around forever to find a parking spot ruins it for me. Have a great weekend!
