Warm-up Week

So this past week has really been my first week back into Spark. As such, it's been deemed warm-up week. I've had to remember how to be accountable. I've to to get into the habit of logging in to Spark everyday. I've had to force myself to drink water. I've had to make sometimes difficult choices about what I"m going to eat. I've had to make myself exercise. But really, this week has been about learning to find balance. Learning what reasonable expectations of myself are. There is a finite amount of time in each day no matter how much I wish for that extra minute or hour. I have responsibilities and commitments to fulfill in addition to making time for myself. Making time for myself is difficult, but a priority. The key is a daily reminder that I am as much of a priority as everything else around me. Week two will be better than week one. Week three will be better than week two. Not perfect, just better. That's progress.

    I like that phrase, warm up week. I too had to learn the spark system, certainly is very complex. Best of luck!
