I decided to start the New Year out right by joining the 28 day Boot Camp.
The first week was easy, and I was wondering if this was going to make any difference at all. But I completed the first week anyway.
I even read the articles and stuff at the end of the week.
Good on me.
Then Week Two came along.
I had gotten myself "too busy" to keep up every day, and had several days of doing more than one Boot Camp in order to catch up.
This week we added 30 minutes of cardio along with the video. I had better luck keeping up with the cardio, but am all caught up now.
Today is last day of Week Two. I can already feel my body getting stronger, and am actually enjoying the process of doing strength training more than I ever have.
My abs are tighter, my stomach muscles are firmer, my arms are vastly stronger. My back is letting me know that it appreciates my efforts.
Yes, this Boot Camp thing is working.
Imagine the surprise when I got on the scale today and found out I lost 2.3 pounds this past week!
HA! Made a Believer out of me, I assure you!
Now I am a Boot Camping Mama, all enthused at finally getting some progress going! Won't be long before I get to wearing jeans again!
