Today is the 1st day of the rest of my life!

Don't know what made me think of that, but it's so true! I could be "blue" because my house isn't getting done fast enough, but I will rejoice that things are started, there is a plan, and I know it will take more time to make it happen! The disaster (mold) came in "overnight" but the clean up took weeks, the re-construction will take months (maybe even years) but we will "babystep" out way to the end!

I didn't get to 306 overnight. It took me 58 years to get so big. It's taken me 24 months to reach 170, but I am still losing (however slowly) and I will continue to lose as long as I can!

My plan of "scheduled" eating seems to be helping. I have a yogurt with my morning coffee, eat lunch at 11, dinner at 5, and a snack sometime between 7 & 8. If I hear something begging me to eat it when it's not time to be eating I chew a stick of tasty Xtra gum.

Keeping busy building quilt blocks or knitting keeps my hands busy and my mind on something other than food. Reading a good book works OK, but I better be reading right after eating or I pick up "hand to mouth" disease!!
