Man!! Working out....or should I say using the elliptical is kicking my butt!! And my work schedule.
The two middle weeks of the month are my busiest with work, long days that roll into the evenings which intrude on my elliptical time. I know that I should use the mornings for my 30min workout but the nights drain me mentally that I don't have the energy....as I type this it sounds like a fricken excuse!!
So I bombed this week - didn't work out last night and ate cake....but I don't think I'll have a quorum for tonight's meeting and it's down the street from my house so I'll be home early enough to get my work out in....unless I come up with an excuse not to.....I AM my own worst enemy (ooo that sounds like the next blog title!!)
I am resolving TODAY to not give into my sleepiness anymore. I got up this morning to take the kids to school and came home and went back to sleep....I slept from 7am-11am and still didn't want to get up. My kids have dubbed me a professional sleeper because I used to sleep every chance I got....but that is just a waste of life and opportunity so I am cutting that out. But that's not to say I won't get in a nap here or there once in awhile but I am going to stay conscious of my sleeping and when I want to do it.....That sounds so weird to me....
Next week will be the true test.....I have the same work schedule next week so we'll see if I sleep....and work out....
