YAY for Protein (and Progress)!

First of all, I wanted to share a progress photo that I took last night. I can really see a change already - I'm super pumped!
On to the subject at hand: protein....
My trainer told me that one of the keys to keeping your body burning fat is to intake the right amount of protein. I don't eat enough protein, as I eat more veggies these days, but my trainer suggested I try having protein shakes after workouts or as a breakfast supplement. He let me try a little sample of the protein shakes he drinks (Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein Powder in Delicious Strawberry flavor). It is, in fact, DELICIOUS! I ordered Monday from Vitamin Shoppe and it came today! I'm pumped! I've tried it two ways: mixing it with strawberry Gatorade, and mixing it with milk. Both ways tasted great and it doesn't have that chalky taste like most protein shakes. I also got a cute pink blender bottle just because!
If you're looking to increase your protein intake, and don't want to do it solely by eating more meats, this is a great alternative that I just had to share!! Have a happy Thursday all!!
