We all have them. You may have had one today as well. Thankfully, a month, a year from now it will be forgotten. Nevertheless, I am not a happy Sparker.
To start with, I am behind. So far behind that I thought it was Jan 10. I overslept, so my delayed TurboFire workout got bumped by my hubby who needed me to do other things. My son called at lunch, asking me to come get him. So many kids are sick because the sick ones don't stay home. Even Josh is returning tomorrow because he has four major assignments due within a week. He has been sick during every break - Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now MLK holiday. Getting him to bed earlier is a battle every night. But I am the mom so I am the heavy.
Today seemed like the perfect opportunity to call my stylist and see if she could work me in for a cut. Haven't had it cut since before DDs wedding and I am tired the long stuff. THIRTEEN INCHES!!! That is what hit the floor! What once hung past my shoulder blades no longer touches my shoulders. Jennifer did exactly what I asked her to, I just didn't expect it to shrink so much as it dried.
One thing for sure, I won't have a wet pony tail after TurboFire gets done with me. It will probably be long enough to bother me again by the time the weather is hot and oppressive.
Thank God for new days.
